Day 2 & 3… stuck in Ellensburg

It happens, and I guess it’s ok that it happened so quickly, but the RV or “home” as we call it started to overheat over the Snoqualmie pass.  So, we stopped in Ellensburg for the first couple of days and it hasn’t been bad.  We are staying next to the Yakima river and it’s a great place to cool down on very hot days… not used to it being THIS hot!  Here are a couple of pics from the last couple of days… cooling off in the river.  Throw me a stick (even a big one) and I’ll go in and get it!

Tomorrow the RV is fixed and we are moving on to parts unknown.  Another day, another adventure.  It’s great to enjoy the outdoors!  Can’t wait to see what is next!

    Hey Louie!
Awesome job with the blog, man! I like your sunny optimism and the way you’re just “rollin’ with it”, even when things haven’t gone exactly as planned. I hope you have kept your mom calm and laughing through the adversity so she doesn’t get cranky. If anyone can do it, YOU can! 🙂

I love the selfies you’ve taken too, so keep posting those photos. It looks like you’re having a wonderful time, and I’m sure you have lots more fun ahead! Give your mom a lick for me…no wait, that sounds bad…give your mom a tail wag for me, and I’m looking forward to your next post!

    Hey Louie and the gang,

So glad you’re off to a fun start. Louie, you look like you’re having a great time in the water. BTW, if mom didn’t tell you…those things called “cows” are fun to tip. Maybe she’ll show you! Anyway, stay safe everyone. We all miss and love you as we’re back here in the real world.

What happened? Did you get caught in the dreaded Ephrata triangle on your way to Odessa? Louie, what’s going on?

I’m sure it was Lucy’s fault, she didn’t want to leave Seattle. Miss you Uncle Tom!

At least there was a nice place for the dogs to play. If/when the RV is getting fixed, where do you sleep? Do you have a backup tent?

We were lucky that we had the RV the whole time, it just took a couple of days to get the radiator ordered and shipped. We are now safe and sound in Montana!!! 🙂 We were thinking of renting a motel room if we didn’t have the RV. We do have a truck that we are towing so we had transportation.
